Project / product name: EcoEntrepreneur Academy

Team leader: Stepan Klokocka
Challenge: 4. NextGen Impact
Problem: Design a digital platform or game that empowers high school students to develop entrepreneurial thinking while exploring sustainability. Include interactive content, inspiring founder stories, gamified challenges and quizzes on topics such as energy, mobility, air, water, food and agriculture, circular economy and healthcare. Help students learn by doing—and encourage friendly competition with peers along the way.
Solution: The modern system to educate students in coding is called "42 London". A modern system to educate students in entrepreneurial thinking while exploring sustainability is called "EcoEntrepreneur Academy"!
Impact: The EcoEntrepreneur Academy project has the potential to significantly enhance high school students' sustainability education and entrepreneurial skills by leveraging e-learning technologies and fostering positive attitudes and self-efficacy, especially in the areas of:
- Enhanced Sustainability Awareness
- Entrepreneurial Skills Development
- Mediating Role of Attitude and Self-Efficacy
- Educational Methodologies
- Challenges and Considerations
Feasibility & financials: The EcoEntrepreneur Academy web application is a cloud-based web application with minimal requirements on the student side: Internet and computer with a modern web browser. The students will get most of their educational support in a peer-to-peer manner from their peers. Proper educational materials and teacher support are still welcome. The platform has a very gradual learning curve, which makes it a very viable solution even for self-study.
What is new about your solution?: The EcoEntrepreneur Academy is a pioneering solution that combines cutting-edge educational technologies, real-world applications, and a strong focus on sustainability. Its innovative approach to curriculum design, interactive content, and mentorship programs sets it apart from traditional educational models, making it a valuable resource for high school students interested in social entrepreneurship and sustainability.
What you have built at the hackathon - text explanation + code (e.g. GitHub link): I have build a cloud based web application which can be used as a teaching tool for entrepreneurial and sustainability skills.
Source code of the application can be found in github repository:
https://github.com/skippy8/greenhack2025
Heavy use of AI coding tools was part of the development process.
What you had before the hackathon, please mention open source as well: No tools, code or other materials were ready before the hackathon. Everything was created "from scratch".
However, opensource JavaScript frameworks like React are part of the project. Without them, it probably wouldn't be possible to develop the platform with such limited time and resources.
What comes next and what you wish to achieve: In the future, I would like to focus on these areas:
- Enhanced User Experience
- Expand Content and Resources
- Advanced Gamification and Challenges
- Community and Collaboration Features
- Mentorship and Professional Development
- Data Analytics and Feedback
- Partnerships and Collaborations with educational institutions
- Mobile and Offline Access
- Financial Sustainability of the whole project
