Challenge: no. 4: National Register/ IVLP prescriptions
Problem: Occasionally there is a shortfall in the drug market and this causes problems for ordinary people. Pharmacists have to mix some replacements for the missing drugs. Young doctors don’t know what ingredients to prescribe during a drug outage and not all pharmacies have technical procedures for mixing replacements. The pharmacy at Ikem Hospital uses a very old system to prepare medicines and there is a lack of a standardized system across the country.
Solution: A web application that provides searching information about out-of-stock medicines and their replacements that fully meet the requirements of pharmacists. The app can help doctors with prescribing replacement ingredients and pharmacists with the preparation of drug replacements by providing a technical procedure. The app can handle the approval process for the technical procedure of drug replacements required by the medical board. App: https://futurdrg.herokuapp.com/
Impact: This solution could help 2775 pharmacies and some of the 42021 doctors. In the event of a shortage of medicines, this can help a large number of people in the Czech Republic.
Feasibility & financials: After further development, that extends current functionalities, the app could be almost immediately used by pharmacy chamber. It covers core requirements comming from pharmacies, therefore app brings many benefits. finances are not a big issue, it’s just a matter of finetunning our prototype into production level app. And off course it requires infrastructure for hosting working solution.

What comes next and what you wish to achieve: Deploy the application into a production environment, develop existing functionalities, perform user testing, better secure the application to integrate with medical board members, and train users.
