Project / product name: A.C.E.

Team leader: Iaroslav Vasilevskii Vasilevskii
Challenge: 3. Engage & Comply
Problem: Documentation is long, difficult to process and even harder to understand. Hours lost on learning documents, instead of engaging learning.
Solution: Turning PDF's into story-based active learning with live feedback from an AI assistant.
Impact: Saving time learning, which can be used on important projects, etc. Students are learning faster.
Feasibility & financials: Even a smaller model will suffice for this task, the aplication can be run localy on computer saving money.
What is new about your solution?: Story-based learning, which can use any document that is required to be learned.
What you have built at the hackathon - text explanation + code (e.g. GitHub link): Everything. During the productive 24 hours we exerted an enormous effort to learn and make the application as complete as possible. Non of our team had experience with LLMs, so we learned from scratch, also with help from our mentor Joe.
What you had before the hackathon, please mention open source as well: Nothing.
What comes next and what you wish to achieve: First we want to make our platform support a wider range of documents, and then make an effort for accurate citation and references to the material, including page numbers and paragraphs, to make the system more reliable and usable. We also would like to introduce tasks to encourage reading of the original material.
